The source of health and joy
The medicinal water of Harkány was discovered in the 1800s. As the legend said, the devil himself tried to propose the most beautiful girl in the area, named Harka. After the girl refused him, the devil went to hell and sulphuric water bursted up. This water is unique in Europe, bursts to the surface from 50-70 m deep, with an average temperature of 62.5°C. Its mineral content is about 1000 mg per litre. Due to this composition, the water is suitable for treating musculoskeletal, rheumatologic, dermatological and gynaecological diseases.
